A little about our Boats

Viper and Cobra are two of the newest boats operating from Cardiff Bay and the Bristol Channel, both 9m in length and custom built by Ribcraft. Ribcraft has gained an enviable reputation as the leading British builder of custom and production ribs, providing vessels for the police customs and coastguards around the world since the late eighties.

Viper and Cobra are licensed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) for use up to 20 miles offshore day and night (CAT 3), they both carry all the latest navigation equipment from Raymarine and both have high definition radar and advanced GPS, tracking systems and two VHF radios, both boats are in constant communication with the coastguard at all times, and are fitted with two state of the art electronically controlled 300hp Suzuki marine outboards.

The DF300s are the most powerful marine four stroke engines in the world. Both our boats are fitted with custom designed bench seating with moulded seats and hand rails, ensuring total safety.
