Booking a boat trip around Cardiff Bay

Questions & Answers

Q: "I have a medical condition, is it ok to sail?"

A: We carry disabled people not a problem, but it's usually a good idea to have a helper on board. In fact, one of our most memorable trips was with a group of blind and deaf children who gained a huge amount from the sensation of speed and movement offered by this sort of experience. The general rule is to let us know in advance of specific issues and we shall do our best to accommodate you. However please note our insurer’s advise, "That unless there is an act of negligence, that the decision to partake in the activity is that of the client and by partaking they consent".

Q: "What age can we take children?"

A: We can carry toddlers on our 1 hour fast blast. All children however should be well wrapped up warm as they particularly feel the wind chill from the boat’s speed across the water.

Q: "What if I am unsure or worried when were out on the trip?"

A: We always travel across the bay at cruising speed at the start of each trip. If you feel unhappy at this point we will return you to the pontoons straight away. It is something we understand and won’t make a fuss of but please let us know before we lock out.

Q:"Can we pay on the day?"

A:Paying on the day is not a problem. We accept all major cards and payment is taken on our mobile chip and pin machine.

Q:"What if it rains?"

A:Rain is not a problem; we provide all the waterproofs free of charge. On all our trips there is a chance of getting a little wet. So please don’t let rain stop you we do live in Britain after all.
